Sometimes you gotta "live a little" with your home décor. I mean, I love neutral décor but then my heart goes screaming for color, for life, and a little pizzazz. Oh and change, it's my middle name, as you all know if you've been reading this blog for a while. This is when temporary wall paper comes into play. What a fun way to add a punch of fun in décor without the commitment.
First, meet boring white wall. (The before.) Nothing really to see here... well, except for Ted. ;)
I've been dreaming up ideas for this wall for a year or more...
WallsNeedLove.com helped me take it to the next level with their Vintage Magnolia print wallpaper. Simply measure your wall space, pick a fun wallpaper, and they do the rest. It comes to you packaged in easy to install sheets.
I was pretty excited to get started on this one!
Installation was easily done. It did take me a few tries for the first panel because my walls aren't exactly straight, and I can be a perfectionist at times. The wonderful part about this paper is the ease of repositioning it. Our walls are also pretty heavily textured here so I was happy to see that it still adhered quite well.
The tools I used: An exacto knife, a level, and straight edge for smoothing.
Ted Approves too.

For styling, I used this thrifted chunky frame and print purchased from Hobby Lobby to conveniently cover my electrical panel.
I'm just in love with how the vintage vibe of the print works so well with the rustic décor. WallsNeedLove.com has so many choices from modern to vintage inspired styles. They offer a wide variety of temporary wallpaper, murals, wall decals, and a site full of inspiration. Go check them out friends and tell them I sent ya!
Hope y'all have a blessed week!
