Spring Mantel Refresh

Oh dear friends, doesn't Spring have a way of bringing refreshment to our souls.?! I love this time of year when we celebrate our Risen Lord Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. He has truly made everything beautiful in His time. The fragrant flowers and pretty plants around every corner serve as a sweet reminder that He can make all things new again. I love this verse in 1 Peter 1:3, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,"

If you've been following me on Facebook or Instagram lately, you know we've been deep into remodeling our son's bathrooms (another bathroom reveal coming soon). With construction dust all around, I've been in need of a little, ok, A LOT of Spring cleaning and refreshment in my décor, as well as in my heart. We can get so busy that some days we need that nudge from the Lord telling us to slow down and just enjoy what's in front of us, so that's what I did yesterday. Cleaned and styled this space all the while thanking the Lord for Springtime and what it really means in my heart.

(This candle by, Antique Candle Co. in Lavender is one of my favorites!)

(Most greenery is from Michaels, rusty metal basket is a thrifted find as well as most of the old books.)

Even though these are faux plants and florals, the colors and soft candle light still bring joy & calm, and I pray that for my family as well. Homemaking is really special to me. Yes, I love a project, but the end of one is also a very good thing.

(This little wood bunny is a gift from my Mother in Law, Mary, last year.)

(The wood tool chest is still a rustic favorite to pair with just about any décor in our home.)

"See! The winter is passed; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come," Song of Solomon 2:11-12a

"He has made everything beautiful in it's time" Ecclesiastes 3:11

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

(These little bunnies are actually salt and pepper shakers from the $ spot at Target.)

(The brass candle sticks are a Christmas clearance find from Pottery Barn.)

Thank you so much for stopping in today and taking the time to read what God put on my heart as well as seeing this space styled for Spring. I pray God's richest blessing over each of you today.

Much Love,
