Living Forgiven

It's been a doozie of a week so far, but we are making it through. We've had some sickness in our family, including our little Teddy. I'm currently sipping coffee in my robe writing this as we were up on and off throughout the night. I'm sure one day I'll miss these sleepless nights with little ones but that will have to take some time to appreciate. ;)

I view this little corner as the truly personal side of my blog. I want you to know that when you read these T T posts that I am not a trained Bible teacher, not a scholar, not one who has reached a certain level of knowledge... I simply have a love for the Lord and have grown to know Him to be real & loving. I have a simple faith and He has impressed upon me to share it here. Hear my heart here friends, I fall daily but He forgives & picks me back up, He doesn't give up on me when I fail Him, and I am here to tell you, He won't give up on you either.

Love these truths:

"The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him." Daniel 9:9

But if we will:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

1 John 1:9

You are never too far away to receive His forgiveness. We are never too far to come back to Him. His grace is sufficient! (2 Corinthians 12:9) I can testify to that! He is faithful, merciful, loving, and kind. He will draw you in close to Him if we will just ask.

His promise:

"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

Psalm 103:12

I love this verse because the Lord is telling us not to dwell on our past wrongs after we have asked for forgiveness. If we believe in His word, then we must move on and live forgiven. Not to be filled will shame, because that is NOT from the Lord. Many times I beat myself up for reliving wrongs of the past. He reminds me that this thinking isn't productive, isn't trusting, and robs us of our joy.

Love this is from Pastor Rick Warren:

"A joy-filled person has more creativity, energy, and productivity. But first, you must learn to forgive the past, trust God for the future, and understand God's purpose for your life. "Give yourselves completely to God - every part of you- to be tools in the hand of God to be used for his good purpose." (Romans 6:13) "

Praying for you to be filled with the Joy of the Lord, and living out forgiveness today friends, Blessings,
