Think on these things...
I love this verse...

I don't know about you but worry can be an obstacle for me. I can be really good at it y'all. When I get started, it can be hard to stop... the what ifs, the self doubts, people pleasing, parenting trials, relationship struggles, and the list can go on. Life can make me a worrying mess, but then when I read this verse in Philippians 4:8, "Whatever is true, right, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, if there is anything praiseworthy~ think about such things." I'm reminded He doesn't want us dwelling on things we can't control, negative situations and worries. We need His help to captivate those negative thoughts and transform them into those honoring of our relationship with the God we trust.
2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us we are to "demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
This is a reminder for me that I must accept responsibility for my thoughts. I have to exercise control over them, and confess them. He is constantly at work in our lives, and will help us if we turn to Him for it.
So today, I choose to think on these things, and oh what joy He brings when we do. He has my family, my concerns, my life and yours in the palm of His hand and oh sweet friend His love can totally overwhelm us when we dwell in that place. Spending time with Him will do that. He loves us more than we can ever imagine.
Praying for you today. I'm praying that more of us would know of His overflowing, overwhelming love.
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God." 1 John 3:1
Blessings friends & Happy Thursday,
