Adding Interest with Moldings
Ahhh, it's done! The black moody wall got a little jewelry to finish her off, and Mama is happy! It feels complete now. Yes, there will still be decisions on what will be hung on the wall, lighting sconces, etc., but for today, it feels good just to get this molding project checked off the list. Materials I used for this project: *Molding of choice (This is 1 1/4 inch Pine molding) *Miter box and hand saw (a miter saw would be preferable but my little miter box worked fine

Living Forgiven
It's been a doozie of a week so far, but we are making it through. We've had some sickness in our family, including our little Teddy. I'm currently sipping coffee in my robe writing this as we were up on and off throughout the night. With boys and a dog, we are bound to have them, right? Yes, I realize I'm the one with white slipcovered couches, but those can be thrown in the washer... Bleach and Oxyclean are my friends! The problem area for a while has been our dining chairs. These were thrift store finds from a few years ago. I

Love Song
(Pinterest: Steppes of Faith) This verse paints a beautiful picture of how The Lord loves us. Isn't it amazing to think that He would sing over us, to rejoice in His beloved children in such a way. That kind of love can transform our view of ourselves and others. His love has the power to do that. It can also remind us... When our world seems overwhelming... He will quiet us with His love. When the worry creeps in... He reminds us to trust Him, helps us recall what He's
